Coffee Machine Retailer & Authorised Service Centre
Coffee Machine Retailer & Authorised Service Centre

One morning it’s fine. The next, it’s leaking, throwing an error code, making a noise it’s never made before, or just sitting there doing nothing. You’re standing in your kitchen without coffee, trying to figure out what on earth you’re supposed to do next.
Do you call Breville? Take it somewhere? Try to fix it yourself? Is it still under warranty and does that even matter? Will someone be able to fix it without making it worse?
Most people have no idea. And honestly, why would you? You bought a coffee machine, not a course in appliance repair logistics.
Here’s what you actually need to know.
It’s tempting to Google the error code and have a go. For some issues like a clogged steam wand, a descale that needs finishing that’s fine. But if the machine is leaking, not heating, tripping power, or showing a fault you can’t identify, leave it alone. Breville machines are precision equipment. Opening them up, or following a YouTube repair guide, can turn a fixable problem into a much more expensive one. And if your machine is still under warranty, a DIY attempt can void that coverage before you’ve even spoken to anyone.
The right move is to bring it in to an authorised Breville repairer.
This step is worth doing from home, and it’s easier than you might think.
Breville warranty periods vary by model, some machines carry a one-year warranty, others up to two years. The first thing to do is check what applies to yours. You can do that in a few ways:
If you haven’t registered your machine yet, do it now. Breville’s website lets you register your product and confirm your warranty status with your proof of purchase. Go to Breville product registration — it takes a few minutes and gives you a clear record of where you stand. Once your warranty is confirmed, Breville will issue you a work order number.
JB Hi-Fi, The Good Guys, Harvey Norman, David Jones, Myer and most other retailers and most other retailers can look up your purchase, confirm whether your machine is covered, and issue a work order for you. They deal with this regularly and it’s a straightforward process.
If you’re not sure which route to take or you prefer to sort it over the phone? Breville’s customer service team can verify your warranty status and issue a work order for you directly.
The work order is what we need. It’s the number Breville or your retailer gives you once your warranty coverage is confirmed and it’s our authorisation to assess and carry out the repair on their behalf. Bring it with you when you come in and we can get straight to it.
In-warranty repair? No assessment fee. We handle the claim directly with Breville on your behalf.
Out of warranty? There’s a $100 assessment fee, which comes straight off your final bill if you go ahead with the repair. We’ll assess and quote within 10 business days, and we’ll always call you before spending anything over $300.
This is the part most people don’t know about and it’s the most important.
Not every coffee machine repairer in Adelaide is authorised to carry out Breville repairs. Breville Australia maintains an official list of authorised service centres: repairers who’ve been trained, vetted, and approved to work on Breville machines using genuine Breville parts. If you take your machine, especially an in-warranty machine to a repairer who isn’t on that list, your warranty may be voided.
You can check the official list yourself in about 30 seconds on the Official Breville Service Centre Portal.
In all of South Australia, there are only two authorised Breville service centres. Coffee Complex in Keswick is one of them, and the only one in the Adelaide metro area.
Coffee Complex has been repairing coffee machines in Adelaide since 2009. Domenic Maione started the business as a family operation in Keswick because he genuinely loved coffee machines and believed they deserved proper care. His son Anthony runs it today, with a team that’s serviced over 10,000 machines between them.
Breville authorised us in 2018 not as a formality, but because we’d spent nearly a decade building the technical standard and the customer relationships that authorisation requires. We’ve held that credential every year since.
We’re not a chain. We’re not a national service network with an Adelaide branch. We’re a local family business that takes your machine in, figures out what’s wrong, tells you honestly whether it’s worth fixing, and gets it back to making great coffee.
No booking needed. Walk in during business hours, bring your machine and your work order, and we’ll take it from there.
We’re at 18 Croydon Road, Keswick (Only 3km from the Adelaide CBD, parking on-site).
Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 4:30pm Saturday: 10am – 2pm
We service the full Breville range: Barista Express, Barista Pro, Oracle, Oracle Touch, Bambino, Bambino Plus, Barista Touch, Dual Boiler, Infuser and more. Whatever yours is doing (or not doing), we’ve seen it before.
If you’re not sure whether your machine is worth repairing, or you want to describe what’s happening before you make the trip, send us a message. We’ll get back to you as soon as possible. If it’s urgent, call us directly on (08) 8297 5799
Don’t attempt to repair it yourself, especially if it’s leaking, tripping power, or showing an error code. Check your warranty status via Breville’s product registration portal, your retailer, or by calling Breville directly. They’ll issue a work order number once coverage is confirmed.
Then bring the machine and your work order in to an authorised Breville service centre. In Adelaide, Coffee Complex in Keswick is an authorised centre — no booking needed.
Breville warranty periods vary by model, some carry one year, others up to two. Check via Breville’s product registration portal, contact the retailer you bought it from, or call Breville Australia directly.
Once your warranty is confirmed, Breville or your retailer will issue a work order number, bring that with you when you come in and we can get straight to the repair.
It can. Breville’s warranty conditions require repairs to be carried out by an authorised service centre using genuine Breville parts. Taking your machine to an unlisted repairer during the warranty period risks voiding your coverage.
Check the official Breville portal and find your closest authorised Breville Service Centre before you go anywhere.
For machines still under warranty, there’s no assessment fee. Coffee Complex handles the warranty claim directly with Breville.
For out-of-warranty machines, there’s a $100 assessment fee, which is deducted from your final repair bill if you choose to proceed.
No. Coffee Complex in Keswick is open Monday to Friday 8:30am–4:30pm and Saturday 10am–2pm.
Walk-ins are always welcome, no booking, no forms, no waiting on hold.
