Rocket Mozzafiato Fast R Espresso Machine Black

Rocket Mozzafiato FAST R: Rocket Performance in a Cleaner, Slimmer Body

You?ve measured the gap between the kettle and the wall three times. You want a proper espresso machine, one you can set up once and leave in place, but you also want it to look like it belongs in your kitchen.

The Rocket Mozzafiato FAST R is a heat exchanger espresso machine by Rocket Espresso Milano, made in Italy, that pairs a quiet rotary pump with flat cast alloy side panels and the option to run from its tank or your mains water. A heat exchanger keeps one boiler full of steam for your milk and heats fresh water for each shot as it passes through. Mozzafiato is Italian for breathtaking, and the restrained, flat sided body is where this machine earns the name.

Inside, it matches the Giotto FAST R on boiler size, pump type, tank and power rating. The difference is the body. The Giotto?s angled panels make it 34cm wide, while the Mozzafiato?s flat sides bring it to 31.4cm. Its sibling, the Mozzafiato FAST V, swaps in a vibration pump, runs from the tank only and weighs 3kg less.

We?ve been a family business in Keswick since 2009, and we service Rocket machines in our own workshop. The people who help you choose your Mozzafiato are the same people who?ll look after it.

Why Choose the Rocket Mozzafiato FAST R

Ready to Brew in as Little as 12 Minutes
The E61 group head, the part your portafilter locks into, has its own heating in the FAST model, so the machine comes up to temperature faster. Rocket?s Australian importer quotes as little as 12 minutes from switch on.

Steam and Brew Together from a 1.8 Litre Boiler
You can texture milk while your shot is pouring, which keeps a run of morning flat whites moving. The boiler is insulated, so it uses less energy holding its heat.

Rotary Pump: Quieter Mornings
A rotary pump hums along quietly and holds brewing pressure steady from one shot to the next. That?s handy in an open plan home or when the rest of the house is still asleep.

Mains Water or the Tank, Your Choice
Connect it to your mains water and refilling becomes a thing of the past. If you?d rather keep it on the 1.8 litre tank, a sensor warns you before it runs dry.

PID You Can Set from the Display
PID is a digital controller that holds the boiler at the temperature you choose instead of letting it drift. You can adjust it from the display as you learn what suits your beans.

OLED Shot Timer and Twin Gauges
Every shot is timed on the display, so you can dial in your grind without reaching for your phone. Two pressure gauges on the front show you what the machine is doing at a glance.
